Ethereal Bridals

I'm so excited to share my bridals today on the blog. I've been swooning over these since the moment my photographer sent me a sneak peek! I knew I wanted my bridals to be taken in a wooded area since I was going for an ethereal feel. (I think we nailed it!) My photographer and I went on an adventure through some woods and across a creek to get to this beautiful location! Needless to say it was well worth it. For my hair I asked to have boho braids and soft waves with a touch of greenery. For the ceremony we went with a simple half up hair style with greenery in it so I could easily take my hair down to wear a greenery floral crown. Speaking of flowers I was obsessed with my bouquet! I wanted my flowers to be pretty huge and incorporate my favorite flower, peonies!! I also asked the florist to make the bouquet as messy as possible I'm not a huge fan of the neat circle bouquets. The messier the better in my opinion! I wanted something that looked like it was just thrown together. (Which probably sounds weird but it turned out so beautiful!) I'll be honest wedding dress shopping was the hardest part for me. I went back and forth between dresses and finally found this gem at the last minute! I fell in love with my wedding dress the moment I saw it! I knew I wanted to be married in long sleeves but I didn't want to be completely covered so this dress gave me the best of both worlds. My arms were covered with a delicate lace but my back was very exposed. The dress also has a dramatic train which gives even more of an ethereal effect. Overall I'm completely stunned by how everything turned out for my bridals! My photographer was able to showcase my style so well and these pictures are timeless.

I also wanted to share some of my favorite websites I used while wedding planning. I hope these help other brides throughout their process:

  • The Knot - This is the perfect website to use to find all your vendors and get some wedding inspiration! You can also create a wedding website through The Knot.
  • AllSeated - This website helps you plan out exactly where to put all the tables, chairs, and rental furniture in your venue for your big day! You can also create seating charts through the website.
  • Green Wedding Shoes - I loved this website for wedding inspiration! They have very unique weddings featured on their website and it gave me so many great ideas.
