The Cutest Chambray Cold Shoulder Top

Friday, June 30, 2017

Happy Friday!! Aren't you so excited it's finally Friday? I wanted to share this cute outfit that's perfect for a weekend date night. I've been obsessing over cold shoulder tops lately if you haven't noticed! Not only is this top cold shoulder it's also chambray with beautiful floral detailing. I paired this top with my favorite Articles of Society white jeans and of course the sandals I've basically been living in lately. (They are still on sale!)

If you've seen my snapchat I posted a mini haul of some beauty products and accessories I recently got! (My snap is @corrinalynn) I'm linking all the products I talked about on the right side bar under "As Seen On Snapchat". I hope y'all have an amazing weekend!

Gingham Obsessed

Wednesday, June 28, 2017

Happy Wednesday! I've been obsessing over gingham print lately! (Can you tell?) This top is under $40 and has two trends in one. I love that this top is a cold shoulder and has gingham print! Pair with white jeans for a look that can be dressed up or dressed more casual. Let me talk about these sandals really quick because these are by far my favorite pair of shoes! I can wear these with anything and they are so comfortable. The best part about these sandals is that they are currently on sale!! This outfit would be perfect for a 4th of July date night!

In other news I'm doing a little snapchat haul of a few things I've purchased recently tomorrow. If you don't have me on snapchat follow me @corrinalynn so you can see the haul! My next post will be on Friday.

The Cutest 4th of July Fruit Kabobs

Tuesday, June 27, 2017

Happy Tuesday! I'm excited to share this super easy recipe for 4th of July fruit kabobs! Not only is this recipe festive and a blast to make it's also really healthy. I'm always on the hunt for healthy snacks Ava will enjoy and this idea is by far my favorite! The best part about these fruit kabobs is that they are perfect for kids AND adults! I added a festive ribbon to give each kabob a personalized touch which is completely optional.

These would be so perfect at a 4th of July party! If you're throwing a 4th of July party you could use these as centerpieces. (As shown in the last picture) I recommend using smaller skewers preferably 6 inches long if you're going to use them as centerpieces.

I love that this recipe requires minimal ingredients! I was able to purchase everything for under $10.

You'll need:
  • (1) Mini Watermelon (preferably seedless)
  • (1) Pack of blueberries
  • Star cookie cutter
  • (1) Pack of skewers
For centerpieces include:
  • Festive ribbon
  • Mason jar
Instructions:
  1. Wash all fruit and sticks before assembling the kabobs.
  2. Cut watermelon to match the width of your star cookie cutter. Then use your star cookie cutter to create the stars!
  3. Start sliding the blueberries onto the sticks. The pointed end of the skewer will be at the top near the watermelon so keep that in mind when creating your kabobs.
  4. Finally place one of the star cut watermelon pieces on the pointy end of the skewer!
  5. This step is optional but you can tie a ribbon at the end of the skewer to make it even more festive!
Super easy right?!

Happy Monday! Today on the blog I put together my idea of the perfect business casual outfit for a Friday. I've worked in the corporate world for a few years now and my favorite part of office life is wearing jeans on Friday! My Top 10 Favorite Beauty Products

Monday, June 19, 2017

This is the only foundation that I've used that has worked with my skin and provides me with full coverage. (It's also a plus that it's only $11.99 right?) I've tried tons of high end foundations from Mac to Laura Mercier, but this is always my go-to foundation! My skin is super dry in my t-zone and oily in the other areas of my face. I don't even have to touch up my makeup throughout the day because this foundation looks stunning all day long!

My obsession with long eyelash is so real! Even though I usually wear false lashes I still use this mascara to lift my lashes and blend with the false lashes. Even before I started wearing false lashes this was my favorite mascara to use because it made my eyelashes so long. If you're as obsessed with long eyelashes as I am then you need to try this mascara!

I've recently started using silicone beauty blenders and I'm already hooked! These are a great alternative to the original beauty blender because they are more hygienic and in my opinion blend better than the original.

My favorite nail polish brand is Essie! I especially love their blanc nail color although lately I've been obsessing over taupe nails. They have a huge range of colors and their polish stays longer on my nails than other brands.

five / Wet Brush
Since my hair is so thick and long it gets tangled really easily. I've always had problems trying to find the perfect brush for my hair until I found the Wet Brush! This brush goes through my hair so easily without any pain. I also love how affordable this brush is. It's been such a lifesaver for my hair!

This is my favorite way to get a tan without actually sitting out in the sun! These are so easy to use and smell really good. You just use one wipe all over your body and in about an hour your skin will have gorgeous tan.

seven Lilly Lashes
The link that I posted for the Lilly Lashes takes you to Forever 21 which sells the lashes for $20! (That's a total steal!!) I usually buy Lilly Lashes directly from the website found here. The lashes I wear everyday is Diamonds and the lashes I wear when I want a more dramatic look is Miami. I love these lashes because they are so full but don't feel heavy. You can also get up to 25 uses out of them depending on which kind you purchase.

This is my favorite palette to use because it has multiple shades for contouring and highlighting. I typically use every shade in the palette when I do my everyday makeup. I'm a little obsessed with the highlighter included in the palette!

nine / Rose Face Mask
Let me start by saying this face mask is life changing!! I can see such a difference in my face from when I first started using this product. This mask makes your skin so smooth and can be used daily. It does have a strong scent, but it's a very pleasant smell.

Since I do wear false lashes daily I use LashFood to keep my lashes strong and long. I first used this product after I tried eyelash extensions. I noticed a lot of my lashes had fallen out and were half the size but after using this product my lashes went back to their regular length.

If you have products that you love using please leave them in the comments!
